Federal Skilled Worker

Express Entry is a web-based system used to handle applications for eligible candidates who wish to become permanent residents of Canada through the Canadian system. Following are the streams for economic immigration:
The Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC)- The qualified candidates are classified according to age, education, language skills, work experience, and other factors.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)- This is an immigration stream for those candidates who have work experience within Canada, such as those on work permits or had entered Canada on a study permit and have experience working in Canada.
The Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)- This stream is suitable for skilled tradesmen who have experience in certain trades as identified by IRCC.
Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship in Canada are primarily managed by the Express Entry system. After receiving the Invitation to Apply (ITA), candidates are invited to apply for citizenship under three federal programs. Federal skilled is one of these programs. This program is for skilled workers that have work experience outside Canada and want to migrate to Canada permanently. Candidates must fulfill three minimum requirements to apply for this program. They are:
1. Work experience based on skills
2. Language proficiency
3. Educational background
