The Atlantic immigration pilot is designed to help employers in Atlantic Canada hire skilled individuals from foreign countries who want permanent residence in Atlantic Canada and International graduates who want to stay and have a career at Atlantic Canada after graduation. There are three programs under this pilot that employers can use for hiring individuals-

1. Atlantic International graduate program
2. Atlantic High-Skilled Program
3. Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program

These programs help employers target different types of candidates with skills that meet their job requirements. This pilot is a partnership between Canada’s Federal government and the four provinces of the region-Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland & Labrador, Prince Edward Island.
